Who we are and What we do
ITS is a stocking distributor
of process control and environmental monitoring instrumentation. We have offices in the
states of Tennessee (Oak Ridge and Nashville) and Kentucky (Louisville).
ITS is pleased to represent industry leading products from Honeywell, Micon, Ronan, and
Square D (Modicon) (Note: not all products are available from all ITS locations).
ITS regularly stocks Alarm Systems, Analyzers, Annunciatiors, Controllers, Control Valves,
Drives, Fieldbus Devices and Configuration Tools, Flame Safeguard, Magmeters, PLCs,
Recorders, Sensors, Signal Conditioners, Software, and Transmitters.
Brief History
Instrument
& Technical Systems, Inc. (ITS) was founded in 1977 as a consultant engineering firm
specializing in distributed control systems and compressor controls design. In this
capacity ITS has been directly involved in the commission and / or retrofit of several of
the world's largest liquid petroleum gas plants and compressor stations.
During 1978,
ITS expanded into the area of process control and environmental monitoring instrumentation
distribution. Over the years our business has evolved to become exclusively focused on the
sales and distribution of instrumentation (and in assisting our customers in the
application of the products they purchase from ITS).
In this
capacity we have been fortunate enough to be selected to provide the instrumentation
behind hundreds of working applications for many of the United States leading
manufacturers as well as for the United States Government.
